We can respond to customer requests/enquiries via Facebook where possible, during business hours; however we would strongly encourage residents to contact Council’s Customer Service Centre on 4325 8222 where your enquiry can be formally registered.
We’re here 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday and will monitor for customer enquiries during that period, if an enquiry or request falls outside these hours we will endeavour to get to it as soon as possible.
For any urgent or emergency situations outside of business hours, residents are still able to contact Council on 4325 8222 (e.g water and sewer emergencies).
To ensure that everyone interacting on our page has a fair go and their opinion is respected, we have a few guidelines for our page:
• Show respect for other people and encourage them to share ideas and thoughts;
• Keep it clean - do not use obscene or offensive language;
• Do not post comments that are likely to offend others, particularly in reference to an individual’s race, age, gender, sexuality, political leaning, religion or disability;
• Do not post repeat comments continuously;
• Do not promote commercial interests, solicitations, advertisements or endorsements of any non-governmental agency;
• Protect your privacy by not including email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses on the public wall.
If you do not adhere to these guidelines, we may moderate and remove comments. We want this to be a good environment for all.
